This is just one version of the goiser method and not the classic one. Goiser stitch got its name from Goisern village, Austria, where it hes been developed. The result of this method is a strong, durable shoe.
Read the full Etsy blog post. www.etsy.com (Animation by: Julia Pott, music by: Eric Beug, photos courtesy of The Lorimer Workshop) New England is a corner of the United States rich with tradition. David Ellison, known on Etsy as lorimerantiques, and to many of his Providence, Rhode Island neighbors as The Lorimer Workshop, builds furniture steeped in such tradition. He is not only fascinated by the New England legacy, but also by how the simple styles of tables built by farmers have evolved in different regions. While his original enthusiasm for woodworking stemmed from restoring antique furniture as a hobby, David's interest in the tradition of farm tables turned into a passion, as evident by the stunning conversation pieces below. I've received quite a lot of requests for a tutorial for my papercrafts, so here it is, a basic papercrafting tutorial for those new to the art papercrafting. Papercraft models are usually modeled in a 3D modelling software such as Metasequoia, Blender or Google's Sketchup, and then 'unfolded' with another software called Pepakura. The designs developed in Pepakura are referred to as Pepakura files, or pdos. The free version of Pepakura is as good as the full version. Only downside to it is that you won't be able to save your projects in the free version. I hope this video is helpful enough to you guys out there. PLEASE RATE AND SUBSCRIBE! =) Thanks for your support, subbers!
Here is a commission I just did. Painting a blank set of nesting dolls. Thanks to Lisa for shooting this video.
NOTE: THERE IS A TYPO IN THE VIDEO: I said SFL while I meant STF (Shear Thickening Fluid.) I removed a slide in the video stating what STF meant. When I was making the slide with the typo, my mind was thinking 'is it Shear Thickening Liquid or Fluid?' My mind combined the L and the F to make SFL. This compromise compromised the accuracy of my video. :) Quicksand: How to Make and Play with a Non-Newtonian Fluid This video is a tutorial on how to make a shear thickening fluid, also known as a non-Newtonian and dilatant fluid. The mixture is made out of cornstarch and water. This video is presented by origamisquared.googlepages.com . Note that there is no "www" Subscribe to my videos!
