LEARN THE BEST WAY TO MAKE SPA PRODUCTS Basic Soap Making Recipes for Scent and Basic Soap Making Recipes When someone decides that they want to get started making soap, often they want to get started now. And while I'm a big proponent of understanding the qualities of soap making oils in order to create your own basic recipe, it's often times quicker and easier to use someone else's recipe to get started. More knotty stuff on my blog: stormdrane.blogspot.com This video tutorial shows how to tie a lanyard knot with a loop. I used and 18 inch length of paracord for the demonstration, which is more than needed, but this will work with various length of cord. After the knot is tied, I also show the adjustment of the loop size by finding one of the loop leads and creating slack, which is worked back thru the knot. You can do it the other way around to make the loop longer. This is just the way 'I' learned to tie this knot, there are other methods shown in books and online if you look for them. More paracord work can be found on Instructables.com and google will also bring up a lot of info. The music with the video is from YouTube's audioswap, and is listed as 'The Tar Baby' by Ryan Kickland. Knot responsibly.
