It's highly illegal, especially if you're going to profit from others work. Yes, you'll become a copyright infringer if you do not get expressed permission as you could get sued/jailed for doing so as it is a crime. Even if someone creates the artwork of pre-existing work or makes new work of a name/design that is copyrighted/trademarked, need to receive the original author and the design copyright-author permission (eg Need my permission to use my replica designs and get permission from the NFL to use my replicas).

I have designed and decorated all these wallets and other stuff like hair pins, and i thought i could sell them and list them on Etsy.com but then i thought..
