Last summer I did an on-site (plein air) painting of the Ortega River Bridge (see it on my 2007 review video). While there, I shot a photo of some wild flowers being visited by a bee. That's today's subject. It's an 8x10 oval acrylic painting on a stretched canvas from Hobby Lobby, framed with a metal frame from Walmart. It was painted in one sitting January 9, 2007. The colors and brushes used are shown at the beginning of the film... Starting with white at the top and clockwise: Ultramarine Blue, Prussian Blue, Emerald Green, Sap Green, Cobalt blue, Van Dyke Brown,Burnt Umbra, Black, Cad Orange,Cad Yellow Med, Cad Yellow light. It was a lot of fun to paint. It was time-lapsed using a Sony TRV25 in INTERVAL mode (1/2 second every 30 seconds). If you like this video or learned something from it, please RATE it by clicking on a star, and/or leave a comment ... THANK YOU FOR WATCHING... Take Care... ALWAYS KEEP PAINTING... it opens your eyes to see the world around you in a different light.
