New Beginnings – Coral- Fiber Art Artist Designer-Weaving

Striving to expand, growing cells ready to burst, yet bound by the wrapped and woven threads for protection. By working with cotton threads, metallic and unraveled lace taken from my family's sewing boxes, I am able to incorporate bits of the past with the new journeys ahead. This series of framed wall hangings called New beginnings, is one of the outcomes of my original technique. This piece entitled coral Beginnings reminds me of the coral reefs which hold tiny new life. Be sure to watch more of my art work on Fiber art TV.
