“Misty River” Part 2 Watercolour Painting Demonstration

I started the sky with a flat wash of Raw Sienna. Over this I put in some Ultramarine Blue. Before the sky was dry I put in some distant hills using a mix of Ultramarine and Alizarin Crimson but to be honest it wasn't nearly strong enough and I lost the effect. Before the hills were dry I put in the trees using a stronger mix of Lemon Yellow and Paynes Gray.
