***IMPORTANT INFO PLEASE READ ME*** Hello again Everyone! It's been a while since I made a DIY craft video so here is one that I've been very excited about since I've only mastered it a week/two ago. It's a fun and simple way to label your items and since its printed from your computer, you can make it anything that you like. I hope to continue making more of these in the future. Pass this video to a crafter in need. Thank you for watching and enjoy! In this week's video tutorial I teach you how to make cute and simple fabric postcards...that you can actually send off in the mail. This a great beginner project that even kids can do! It requires some fabric and batting scraps, rulers, rotary cutter + mat (or a pair of scissors),printer paper or cute scrapbooking paper and some kind of fabric glue stick or adhesive. I am so thankful to have been selected as one of 25 winners of YouTube NextUp's first class. Here are all the other winners.... check out their channels! www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com

This variation on the classic pencil skirt is easy enough for even the most beginner DIYer or aspiring fashionista, yet still super chic. I love bright colours, and I especially love the bright jewel tones seen on the runway at Gucci for this spring. I thought colour blocking was kind of over, but I guess it's still in style (or rather it's going out with a BANG). Thanks to Kristen Turner and Kristen Reeves of forever Vainglorious (aka. thread banger style) to turning me on to this collection. I usually just covet the French designer collections (hello Dior!) and dont give much second thought to the Italian ones. Although now I'm starting to realize that maybe Italian designers are a lot closer to my own personal style. I used a bit more than half a meter of stretch knit fabric (ie. teeshirt fabric) and about 25" of 2.5" wide black elastic. How much material you need will depend on your size and how long you want this to be. This would look great as a mini! If you're not comfortable sewing with knits, I suggest you check out my video on techniques for sewing with knitted fabric: www.youtube.com www.evangestyle.com www.evangesews.com DIY crafts sew pattern skirt fashion draft simple sewing clothes custom drafting craftovision corinne leigh
